The Holiday觀後感

因為又重看了一次DVD正版版本

對劇中的對話又驚艷了一次

尤其是Iris安慰Miles的那一段

真是闡述得太透徹了....



你知道 但你希望自己是錯的



在某一刻 你告訴自己你是幸福的



為什麼人們總是失去後才懂得珍惜

只因為她發現前一個對她比較好??



他需要她 僅僅是"需要"



謝謝導演將LA拍得那麼美

尤其是風起的時候

我想起曾經我也站在那海邊欣賞美麗的風景

或是在窗前享受那無與倫比的寧靜

相較之下 倫敦真的冷得孤獨

意識到自己有多孤單的Amanda

兩年前喪偶的Graham

最後終於學會哭的她

與打開門發現早已哭成淚人兒的他

多麼可愛

如果不是交錯的時空

怎麼將這麼多情感表達得如此透徹

喔我真愛這個導演兼編劇Nancy Meyers

Beautiful~ It's really beautiful~~~~~~

片頭Iris的獨白,搭配Miles的配樂與含情脈脈:

I've found almost everything ever written about love to be true.

Shakespeare said "Journeys end in lovers meeting."

What an extraordinary thought....

....For some quite inexplicably, love fades; (Amanda與多年男友的分手)

for others love is simply lost. (睡前都會看一次老婆新娘照的Arthur)

But then of course love can also be found, even if just for the night.

(不知道如何以爸爸身分跟人單獨約會的Graham,夜夜爛醉想尋找答案)

And then, there's another kind of love: the cruelest kind.

The one that almost kills its victims. Its called unrequited love.

Of that I am an expert. (可憐的Iris以及之後出現的Miles都是)



Miles為初次來到LA的Iris介紹每年冬季的暖風:

The wind... it's what makes it so warm this time of year.

Legend has it, when the Santa Anas blow, anything can happen.



Iris告訴Miles他為何在戀情中失敗:

Because you're hoping you're wrong.

And every time she does something that tells you she's no good, you ignore it.

And every time she comes through and suprises you,  she wins you over,

and you lose that argument with yourself, that she's not for you....

(喔一針見血地讓人忍不住點頭又自認可笑)

....you still go to bed every night going over every detail

and wonder what you did wrong or how you could have misunderstood.

and how in the hell for that brief moment you could think that you were that happy.

And sometimes you can even convince yourself that he'll see the light and show up at your door.

And after all that, however long all that may be, you'll go somewhere new.

and you'll meet people who make you feel worthwhile again.

And little peices of your soul will finally come back.

And all that fuzzy stuff, those years of your life that you wasted,

that will eventually begin to fade.

(她將頭埋進了黑暗中)



Arthur所謂的"meet cute":

Say a man and a woman both need something to sleep in

and both go to the same men's pajama department.

The man says to the salesman, "I just need bottoms,"

and the woman says, "I just need a top."

They look at each other and that's the "meet cute."



Iris的經典台詞,搭配Arthur的主題曲"亞瑟與他的小騎士":

I like corny. I'm looking for corny in my life.

為什麼這種主要台詞都是Iris講?因為她是一個職業writer

但我更喜歡電影預告片式的Amanda

她跟Graham的愛情是用畫面表達的

Iris及Miles是用文字與音符表達的,英文都是"note"

仔細去體會英文對話

這台詞真是編譜得太美妙了
