Last midnight my phone rang

you were lucky that I hadn't slept yet

You said you were in the airport

and going to fly back to Thailand

You sounded happy

I felt sad



I regret so much that I forget to call you last weekend

even though you might be too busy to have a dinner with me

The distance between La Jolla and Carlsbad is not far at all

but from here to Thailand seems forever

You say you will come back after two months

I just care about the two months we still have before I leave

If you ask me what present I want from Thailand again

I will say, "You"



I have started to miss you already
